Overview
STQC (Standardisation, Testing and Quality Certification) is the national quality assurance organisation of the Government of India under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY). Established to provide third-party testing, calibration and certification services in the field of electronics and IT.
STQC operates a country-wide network of Electronics Test & Development Centres (ETDCs), IT Centres for Functional Conformance (ITCFC) and a Common Criteria Test Lab. Its reports and certificates are recognised by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), UIDAI, MeitY, RBI, NPCI and several other Indian regulators.

Our Process
From product gap analysis to final certificate / test report — we coordinate with the relevant ETDC or STQC scheme team and manage end-to-end submission, sample handling & review.
We identify the correct STQC scheme (Product / IC3S / Biometric / IoT / e-SAFE) and the applicable Indian / international standard for your product.
Fill the prescribed STQC application form, prepare technical write-up, security target (for IC3S) or security feature description (for biometric / IoT).
Quick bench review of datasheet, schematic, firmware/software architecture & test plan to surface failure risks before formal lab entry.
Coordinate sample dispatch to the chosen ETDC (Bangalore, Mohali, Kolkata, Pune, Mumbai, Delhi, etc.) with all required artifacts & fee payment.
STQC carries out testing — safety, EMI/EMC, environmental, security, biometric performance — or evaluation as per the scheme. We track every milestone.
STQC may raise observations on design, firmware, documentation. We coordinate technical responses and re-test cycles to close them efficiently.
On successful completion, STQC issues the digitally signed test report or certificate — usable for BIS CRS, UIDAI registration, tenders & customs.
For schemes with validity (IC3S, biometric, ISMS), we manage surveillance audits, change-impact reviews and timely renewal applications.
